Sedgefield Community College Receive Edurio Award

We are delighted to share that Sedgefield Community College has won the Secondary Staff Choice Award at this year’s Edurio Awards.

The award recognises the secondary schools where staff are most likely to recommend their workplace as a good place to work. It is based on responses from Edurio’s 2025/26 staff survey, including the question: “On a scale from 1–10, how likely are you to recommend your workplace as a good place to work?”

Sedgefield Community College was recognised among the top 10 secondary schools nationally, following responses from staff across 538 secondary schools that took part in the 2025/26 survey.

The award is a fantastic reflection of the experiences and views shared by our staff and recognises the contribution of the whole Sedgefield Community College team in creating a positive place to work.

We are incredibly proud of this recognition and would like to thank every member of staff for the part they play in making Sedgefield Community College a great place to work and learn.

The Sedgefield Community College team will be invited to the Edurio Awards and Community Event in London on Thursday 3rd December.
