Our Learning Platform - FROG

The FROG learning platform is an online system that supports students with their learning as well as other aspects of their school life.

Students can access FROG anytime and anywhere, and it allows them to:

• access homework and revision materials, submit them to their teacher and receive feedback
• view subject area sites (eg, Maths, English) and access information and resources to support learning access their emails from home, and also their own personal network drive and all of the work they have stored electronically in school
• keep up-to-date with all of the latest sports news and enrichment opportunities, including signing up for their chosen activity
• access our highly-recommended health and wellbeing site which includes information, guidance and links to help support a student’s personal health and e-safety, for example.

The FROG Parent Dashboard

The parent dashboard within FROG is highly recommended by the school and can be accessed by all parents. It gives parents full access to the areas students can visit as well as other features and information only available to parents. 

The parent dashboard can be accessed using the web address ‘vle.sedgefield.cc‘ or by clicking on the FROG icon wherever it appears on this website.

The parent dashboard in FROG can be used to access the student Health and Wellbeing area, which we know many parents find particularly useful. This area of FROG provides parents with information, advice and guidance on many of the issues their child will experience as they move through puberty, adolescence and into adulthood. The area is strongly recommended to parents as a starting point should they have concerns.

Logging into FROG

On your first visit to the parent dashboard, you will be asked to create a username and password using the email address that you have registered with the school.  In order to do this, you will need to click on the ‘Forgot password?’ link and follow the instructions from there. Please ensure you check your junk/spam folder as the email to setup your account may be redirected.
